One Stitch at a Time. Sewing tips #4

If you have a long narrow piece that you need to turn inside out, like a belt or a tie, how can you do that? It seems so tricky! The finger will not go inside, you don't have special tools and totally lost... But there are some easy tips here!

If your piece is wider than 1/2 inch and one end is closed, the pencil will help you!

Put the dull end of the pencil to the end of the belt and start pushing it through.

Eventually you will gather the belt on the pencil and you will see the tip of the pencil coming out.

When you will see the end of the belt turned inside out, you can get the pencil out of the belt and adjust the corner with a pin, so it will be straight. Done!
