Do you have very thin fabric? Or is it flimsy and moving as you try to cut it? I have a remedy for that - starch spray!

Spray on the fabric, iron it without steam and your fabric will be nice a crispy, like paper. Now you can cut it easily, stitch and manipulate in various ways. To remove it - simply rinse in warm water and it will be soft again.
