
This is the course for people with a little experience in sewing. At least, they can thread the machine and make a pillow case. Also, for all my students who was at the Step 1 course.
This 4 week course will go further:
- how to make pockets of various kinds,
- how to make drawstring bags, tips and tricks for better stitching,
- first steps into making garments, proper measuring.
Week 1, January 22
Pockets for various purposes.
Project – We will start a drawstring bag and attach at least 2 pockets to the sides.
Week 2, January 29
Proper marking of the fabric, covering raw edges.
Project – Finishing the bag, adding strings.
Week 3, February 5
More complex ways to finish the edges, facing.
Project – a cover for the Kleenex box.
Week 4, February 12
How to measure people, first steps into dress making.
Project – doll-size robe (with instructions how to make it your size).
From 2 pm to 4 pm on Sundays January 22, January 29, February 5 and February 12.
Some experience needed, suitable for ages 12+
The price for 4 classes is $158, one class - $40,
must be paid in advance to book your spot. Spots are limited.
If you will miss a class that was paid, you will receive a link to the video tutorial covering the topic you missed.

You will need to bring your sewing machine with a manual (if possible), an extension cord (2-3 m long), and your sewing box (scissors, threads, needles, measuring tape, fabric marker, or chalk). Other tools and materials we will discuss during the first class.
