
If you are afraid of your sewing machine, I will help you!
This 4 week course will cover the basics:
- how to thread the machine, how to fix minor issues,
- what tools and materials you will need (pins, threads, needles, chalk, rulers etc),
- how to choose the right fabric for your project and more.
Week 1
Threading the machine, basic stitches and troubleshooting.
Project – reversible coaster.
Week 2
Know your fabric – how to define the fiber, how to prepare for sewing.
Project – 3 kinds of hems.
Week 3
Pressing and cutting. Measuring.
Project – purse with a zipper.
Week 4
Working with patterns. Various stitches.
Project – sleeping mask with elastic band.
From 2 pm to 4 pm on Sundays October 8, 15, 22, 29. You can join 1, 2 or 3 classes on your choice.
No experience necessary, suitable for ages 12+
The price for each class is $46, 4 classes for $164, must be paid in advance to book your spot. Spots are limited.

You will need to bring your sewing machine with a manual (if possible), an extension cord (2-3 m long), and your sewing box (scissors, threads, needles, measuring tape, fabric marker, or chalk). Other tools and materials we will discuss during the first class.
